Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce that on July 18, 2022, we lost our daughter and sister, Amber Rose Burnett, 36, of Lansing, Michigan.
Amber was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Pitts, Jr. She is survived by her best friend in the world, her mother, Meredith Nostrant (Fred); her father, Kenneth Burnett; her children, Gianna, Ganiya, and Greyson; her siblings Andrea (Terry) Quillan, April Burnett, Benjamin (Danelle) Pitts, and Elizabeth (Rodney) Plumley; her nieces and nephews, Reid, Carter, Kuiper, Destiny, Benjamin, Andrew, Katlynn, Reese, Riley, Brian, and Emily.
Affectionately known by her family as Rosie, she was incredibly loyal and loved with a fierce love. Her children were her whole world and she loved them with the fiercest love of all.
Rosie’s favorite things aside from her children were all things red, white, and blue, wearing flip flops until Mother Nature forced her to put real shoes on, mom’s pasta salad and dad’s bbq. The simplest of things made her beam that classic Rosie smile that we will ache to see until we see her again. We love you to the moon and back.
Amber endured a lot in her short life and our family is grateful to know that she is finally at peace.
